In keeping with the great tradition of English Cathedral music there has been a choir at Durham for over six hundred years. This almost unbroken tradition of praising God in music continues to the present day. Evensong is sung in the cathedral every day of the week except Monday, and there are three choral services each Sunday.
Welcome to the DCCA web site

The DCCA is a registered charity.  Our purpose is to support the provision of Sacred Choral Music provided by the organists, by Durham Cathedral Choir, and by Durham Cathedral Consort of Singers, at Durham Cathedral or elsewhere, thus helping to ensure that its tradition is maintained and developed as part of the Cathedral’s worship and heritage.
