The DCCA is dedicated to supporting music in the daily services and beyond. When you join you have the chance to make a valuable contribution to this work. In recent years, for example, the DCCA has assisted with: recruitment and publicity, choir tours, restoring the organ, producing CDs, arranging and promoting concerts, providing extras such as music stands and choir folders and providing uniforms for the Durham Cathedral Young Singers.

Throughout the year there are social events and opportunities to meet the Choir as well as attend special concerts organised by the DCCA. These, and the members' newsletter, enable you to express your support personally and meet others who share your enthusiasm for choral music. There is also the very real satisfaction of knowing that you are directly supporting the musical life of one of the world's most notable cathedrals.
